We here at iPP are over the moon that ‘The Lie’, a new movie from the director Joshua Leonard (Humpday, Blair Witch Project) has been accepted to the Sundance Film Festival 2011!!
We had nothing to do with it, apart from the producer is a dear friend of iPP’s, and that’s enough of a reason!!
We will keep you updated with developments!

Sorry the blog’s been quiet – we’ve been hard at work. Steve McLaughlin has been working with Serge Pizzorno from Kasabian, collaborating on the score for the new film London Boulevard, out this weekend.
We’ve got a few more surprises up our sleeves, so will be in touch.
Have a good weekend. iPP
Dominic Gibbs, our sound supervisor has been busy at Hogwarts, adding eerrr, his magic (?, sorry weak).
Anyhow, he’s put some sound on to the world’s most famous wizard in the first part of his final outing…
As mentioned, iPressPlay has been commissioned to score a new documentary for Aston Martin Racing. So when the trailer went to production on November 3rd, we felt it important for the purpose of research to go along and ensure that we had enough inspiration…?!!
Shot up on the JCB test track near Uttoxeter, against a brilliant autumnal day, we are excited about what we will be working on.
We’ll keep you posted. In the interim, here are some of the pictures of our, err, research.
We’re very excited about the new Sony Christmas spot that saw Ilan Eshkeri and Steve McLaughlin zip between Paris and Abbey Road to collaborate with Lang Lang and Derek Jacobi..
This is the LMP1, Aston Martin’s prototype racing car.
We are excited to announce that iPressPlay has been commissioned to compose the score to the new Aston Martin Film; AMR 86400.
This is the brand’s first foray into film making; a feature length documentary focusing on the year in the life of the brand in the lead up to Le Mans 2011.
Thank you one and all who came to the party; to Envy, to Sony, to Shots, to Texels beer…..
It was a great night – good to catch up with old faces and meet with new!
I somehow suspect there will be another one soon. To quote an email received from friend, ‘the following morning involved a walk of claim, not shame. Thanks iPP’…
Not sure that’s what we’re about, but happy to help.
We’re back to work now, but we will be in touch soon.
